Description

A manhole is a unit that provides access to utilities like a sewer system, drainage system, etc. Manholes are generally found in urban areas, in streets, and occasionally under sidewalks. They are commonly used as an access point for an underground public utility, allowing inspection, maintenance, and systems upgrades. For example, manholes help to lay the sewer line in the conventional lengths. Also, the joining of sewers, the change of direction, or the alignment of sewers can be performed with the help of manhole. One of the important parts of sewerage and drainage system is manhole covers which have a number of serious problems such as theft of the cover, leaving a large massive hole in the ground causing a potential health hazard and possible safety risk, etc.

The present invention has been developed in view of the above-described matters as the background, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a designing method and a manufacturing method of a manhole covers having an acceptable resistance to constant exposure to atmospheric agents as well as having a lower weight in comparison of iron covers which means manpower and tool costs saving and a substantial reduction of injuries during installation and maintenance. Another problem to be solved by the present invention is that the manhole cover is installed inside of the construction frame which is almost impossible to remove without the use of a dedicated ergonomic tool, and as there is no resale network or value, they are an unattractive proposition to potential thieves.
